Sofia Folgia

I'm Sofia Folgia. I'm graduating summa cum laude from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a degree in Dramatic Writing and minors in Film and Casting.

 

My career highlights include being nominated for two Student Emmys by the NATAS SOUTHEAST CHAPTER, one as the Executive Producer/Head Writer of the SCAD Sports Desk and the other a staff writer on SCAD's sitcom Lodged. I've had the privilege of working for CBS Sports and DDO Artists Agency. I've been a senior intern at he SCAD Casting Office, the country’s only on-site, professionally run casting office in higher education, helmed by Andra Reeve-Rabb, Mark Tymchyshyn, and Mikie Heilbrun, working on student and professional productions such as Todd Haynes's May December and Judd Apatow's The Comeback King.
