SCAD's Sports Desk

In February 2024, I was brought on as lead writer and researcher for a proof of concept that would become Savannah College of Art and Design's first-ever sports desk. Our proof of concept was a two-month-long extensive look into the world of sports broadcasting; I was involved since the ideation, from interviews to live taping, and I enjoyed every second. In May 2024, SCAD's film department green-lit the program, and I was asked back to be head of the writing department. After that, across 2025, we have filmed more episodes.

I've learned all aspects of live production and multi-cam production from this project, going from assistant writer to head writer of the incredible team of Logan Kilde and Ella Henry. As we were filming, I was given the honor to be named executive producer alongside the incredible Nancy Sheehan and Michaela Bidon.

It is an incredible honor to share that the NATAS Southeast Chapter has nominated episode one of Sports Desk for Best Sports Story! I am so proud and grateful to be apart of this project!​
